Yvonne Rosales, the El Paso County, Texas, district attorney, resigned Monday amid allegations of mishandling cases and growing efforts to remove her from office. Ms. Rosales was accused of incompetence and misconduct in the 2019 Walmart mass shooting as well as inaction on cases, according to an amended petition for her removal filed by El Paso County Attorney Jo Anne Bernal.
